Headline: Sai, an Adopted Daughter, Returns to Volunteer

Sai & Christine looking after our babies
All of us at Agape Home were so excited to have one of our adopted children return to Agape and volunteer. Sai was adopted from Agape Home a few years ago and now lives in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
This was Sai’s first visit back to Thailand and many emotions were unveiled. During her visit, Sai lived in one of our Jarrawee homes with girls she didn’t know, couldn’t communicate with, and had a very different diet than what she was used to. However, Sai did an amazing job loving and caring for babies which were the same age Sai was when she left.

(The young man in the photo was a baby when Sai was here & he is still with us.)
As providence would have it, at the exact same time as Sai’s visit, a very special return visit happened from a volunteer & her children from Switzerland. Wouldn’t you know it that Daniella remembered Sai from all those years ago! There were also a few long-term nannies that remembered Sai as a baby. Amazing!
Sai left having made many friends, brothers, and sisters with her Agape Family. She said, “It’s funny – it just feels like home. I can’t explain it, but it’s just like coming home.”
We wish Sai all the very best as she returns home and finishes her final year at school. May God bless Sai richly.
